Laser Vein Therapy
Fine spider veins that are not being “fed” by reticular leg veins can be treated with laser vein therapy, a non-invasive, virtually painless procedure that uses light energy pulses to eradicate spider veins. The heat and light emitted from the laser causes the spider veins to collapse, and their appearance to fade away. Laser vein therapy typically takes at least two treatment sessions for optimal results, and most patients can resume their normal daily activities immediately after treatment.
Our Laser machine is equipped to provide our clients with a highly concentrated beam of light that is non-invasive and virtually pain-free designed to remove veins. This procedure sends a light pulse to the vein, targeting blood vessels without harming the surrounding tissue. This laser beam penetrates the spider vein, causing it to clot and break down the blood vessel. The body’s natural healing process will cause the blood to be reabsorbed, while the veins disappear. This non-invasive treatment takes between 20 to 40 minutes, depending on how many veins in an area are being treated.
During the consultation, we will discuss the recommended sessions and time required for your best results.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why use a laser for this type treatment?
Our laser can deliver a prescribed dose of energy to the spider vein that “coagulates the problem veins while sparing surrounding areas with little or no risk of burns or blisters on the skin.
How many treatments are usually required to see best results?
Results can be noticed after one treatment, but up to three treatments (spread out 3 to 4 weeks apart) could be required to reach optimum results.
Is this painful?
Our machine is equipped with a cryogen cooling system that delivers a cool mist millisecond before each pulse of the laser beam.
